BYU Cougars at TCU Horned Frogs Mountain West Conference Finale 6PM ET

Watch a big time Mountain West match-up tonight with BYU and TCU in Texas. The BYU Cougars come into tonight’s game as huge favorites on the road. Odds makers opened this line at BYU -10.5 with the line moving because of action on BYU.

15th ranked BYU (27-4) might not be playing for a MWC title, but they are looking to smash on a conference rival in their final regular season game. The Cougars have been nearly unstoppable this season only losing to regional rival Utah State,the best team in the WAC, on the road to MWC leaders 10th ranked New Mexico and UNLV

The Cougar’s guard power will out assist and out score the TCU Horned Frogs. Jimmer Fredette puts up 20.7 PPG with 3.2 rebounds and 4.7 assists. Jackson Emery and Tyler Hawes are also team leaders and as guards with 4.5 rebounds a piece. Emery averages 12.3 PPG with 2.7 assists and Hawes with slightly fewer minutes this season has averaged 11.7 PPG and 1.6 assists.

If you saw BYU destroy Arizona 99-69 at the end of last December, you know that Fredette and the Cougars want to push the pace offensively. In that game Fredette scored 49 points, going 9 for 13 from beyond the arc.

The Horned Frogs(13-17, 5-10) have been especially struggling this season without a true post player. Their only center on the roster, 6’10″ Cheick Kone, hasn’t played a game due to a knee injury. The Horned Frogs have struggled defensively all season but have solid play from the forward position and will be looking to know off the Cougars.
