The Utah Jazz will be going on the road to Denver on Saturday to take on the Denver Nuggets. The game will be played at 10:30 EST at the Pepsi Center. The Utah Jazz could have easily been the home team in this series but they lost to the Phoenix Suns in the last game of the season on their home court and the Nuggets won their second straight Northwest Division title.

The Utah Jazz received bad news that Andrei Kirilenko will be out for another two weeks after re-injuring the calf on his left leg. He has missed 15 of the last 15 games for the Jazz. Forward Carlos Boozer has a rib injury but will give it a go. Center Mehmet Okur missed time with an injury to his Achilles tendon on his left leg.
The Denver Nuggets will be playing at full strength on the court with the return of Kenyon Martin. Martin is the best defensive player in the post for the Nuggets. The Nuggets will not be at full speed on the sidelines with George Karl recovering from treatment for throat cancer. The Nuggets will be an inspired team here that will be looking to win their opening game of the playoffs after winning the division.
The Series between the Nuggets and the Jazz saw the Nuggets win three of the four meetings. Overall, the home team has won nine of the last ten meetings between these two teams.
Teams that play in the Altitude have a home court advantage. Both of these teams play well above sea level and their records at home reflect that. The Nuggets are 34-7 at the Pepsi Center and the Utah Jazz are 32-9 in the Energy Solutions Arena.
