Utah Jazz versus Denver Nuggets TNT Monday Nba Playoffs Point Spread Series Moneyline Total previews

The Utah Jazz (53-29) will be in Denver to take on the Nuggets (53-29) for Game 2 of their western conference semifinal that will be aired on TNT at 730PST. The Denver has a 1-0 lead in a best of seven series.

The Las Vegas Betting Line opened the Denver Nuggets as a 7-point favorite and that is also the current number with limit fluctuation. The Series money line price has the Nuggets favored at -450 and the Jazz are +350. The total opened up at 213 and has been played down slightly to 212.5 in some spots but still a constant 213 from the offshore sportsbooks.

The Denver Nuggets stepped up in the first game of the series by beating the Utah Jazz 126-113. Six Nuggets scored at 10 points. Forward Carmelo Anthony led the way with 42 points, grabbed four rebounds and dished out five assists. Guard J.R. Smith, the x-factor for the Nuggets in the playoffs, scored 20 points in the game with 18 of those point being scored in the second half of the game. The Nuggets looked very focused and very happy to Kenyon Martin back in the lineup with his toughness. He scored 7 points and snatched 12 boards. Nene also had a presence in the paint with 19 points on 7-10 shooting and six caroms.

While the Nuggets were glad to see a healthy Martin return, the injury list for the Jazz got bigger. Center Mehmut Okur tore his Achilles Tendon and will be lost for the rest of the season. The Jazz are down to just Carlos Boozer as a healthy starter in the post. Boozer did his part in game 1 by scoring 19 points and snatching eight rebounds. Point Guard Deron Williams led the Jazz in scoring 26 points and had a game high 12 assists. The lose of Okur in the lineup really hurts the offense of the Jazz and puts much pressure on Boozer and Wiliams to carry the load.

Look for the Jazz to really come out focused in this game and give a much better effort in this second game. The Denver Nuggets still have the health of the head coach George Karl in the back of their minds. Enjoy this high scoring series.
