The Los Angeles Lakers will be looking to win game 2 of the their Western Conference quarterfinal against the Oklahoma City Thunder. The game will be played in the Staple Center and nationally televised on TNT at 10:30 EST.

The Lakers jumped out a huge lead in Game and after the first quarter by the score of 27-13 behind their defense. The Laker s held the Thunder to 40.3 % shooting from the floor and limited the youngsters to 2 of 16 behind the three-point line for a minuscule 12.5%.
The Lakers had four players in double digits led by Kobe’s 21 points. The Thunder defense also played well by limiting the champions to 41% on the floor and benefited from the Lakers hitting seven of just 12 free throws for the game.
The Thunder squad is one of the youngest in the league and it showed in the first playoff game of the series. Kevin Durant was the regular season scoring leader, racking up 30.1 points per game. Durant struggled going just 7 of 24 from the floor for 24 points. Ron Artest hounded Durant for most of the game and demonstrated why Phil Jackson and the Lakers brought him.
