The Aggies travel to Stillwater, Oklahoma to put their undefeated record up against undefeated
Oklahoma State team in a heated Big 12 showdown. Both Teams are perfect on the season with no big wins to date. This will be the first time the Aggies have even been on TV this season. The winner will be the next challengers for Oklahoma and Texas of the Big 12 South. The Winner will be in the top 25 come Sunday.
The betting line opened up at -3 and remains the same. The game total line opened at -110 and
remains the same also. This should be a high flying offensive battle with one team leaving
Stillwater with their first blemish.
Oklahoma State will be looking to keep up their explosive offensive start. The Cowboys are No. 1 in
the nation in total yards per game with 596 and points scored with 57. The Cowboys also have the
country’s No. 1 receiver in Justin Blackmon and No. 3 rusher in Kendall Hunter. They have put up
65 points in two of their first three games but had a narrow 41-38 victory over Troy in week two.
Texas A&M also opened up their season with a bang winning their first two but is coming off of a
sloppy 27-20 win over Florida International. The Aggies struggled when Jerrod
Johnson threw interceptions on four straight drives to open the second half against Florida
International. They trailed 20-6 at the start of the fourth quarter and came back to win with
21 unanswered points. Oklahoma State’s defense averages three takeaways per game will
try to rattle Johnson again this game.
The Cowboys are trying to win their third straight game for the first time in this series where
they trail 17-8. Texas A&M had won 10 out of 12 including two one point decisions in 2006 and
2007 before Oklahoma State’s recent win streak.
