The Missouri Tigers will travel to the desert to take on the Arizona Sun devils in a nationally televised game. The Tigers are coming off an unimpressive 17-6 over Miami-Ohio while the Sun Devils ran all over Cal-Davis by the score of 48-14. The Tigers were breaking in new quarterback James Franklin while the Sun Devils take advantage and beat up against a non-BCS opponent.
Taking on the Tigers will be the real test for the Sun Devils. ASU finished 6-6 last season and is a favorite to win the Pac-12 South Division with USC on probation. The Sun Devils chalked rolled up 517 yards and the defense was perfect until the subs came in and gave up some points late in the game. ASU will look to give Franklin a heavy dose of pressure to keep the youngster.
The Tigers have put their last three quarterbacks in the NFL and Franklin has plenty of talent. The youngster will be facing a Sun Devil team that has not played many non-BCS teams out side of the Pac-12. The Tigers have been have won their last five season road openers and will be prepared for this game.
A nationally televised game between two ranked teams will take place tonight with one team staying undefeated and moving up the polls and the other will fall from the top-25 teams in the country.
